We've clearly sweetened the deal with a lifetime's supply of Um Bongo.

 :-\

None for me and Clampy?

I've been on to my mates in Kinshasa and Brazzaville. It should arrive next week.

Good Brazzaville fact, it's the only African capital city that has kept its old colonial name rather than changing it because of woke.

Seems that Pierre Savorgnan de Brazza was a surprisingly good egg by the standards of the guys that were normally roaming around Africa naming things in those days.

Cairo?
or al Qahira in Arabic.

Wonder if its going to be a case of

Rogers - left
Manzambi - middle
McGinn/speedy winger out right
Watkins up top

Boobie/Yuri replacement in the middle.

I could live with that.

Doesn't refer to a coloniser, does it? The closest I can find to an exception to Dave's stat is Liberia. Effectively a US settler colony, capital Monrovia is named after President James Monroe. Though he never visited Africa, he was part of the American Colonization Society that sent freed slaves to Liberia.

Rogers left for who that’s still my worry. Hope he isn’t too impressive tonight in a way for purely selfish reasons. Yes let’s hope he’s still wide left for us come august.

We've also got the Man of the Match in a European final last season.
