There was lot of crap said and written in the media this week after England fluked it against an ageing Croatia

They didn’t fluke it did they? I get the wider point, but they played pretty well.

Good defensive work from Bellingham.

The game needs a goal, but if it goes Ghana’s way…

Bellingham has been poor, not that anyone has been good.

Not sure what people are expecting. Ghana are good enough not to be parking the bus, yet they are. That's always going to make for a shit game.

Southgate's England would be at least 2-0 up by now.

And fluff their lines in the final.

Better. That's what we need, more pace and movement.

Why do some players hitch their shorts up for corners? Does showing a bit of leg distract the opposition?

It’s not that different to some of Villa’s first half displays to be fair.

"we're very high"

You would have to be off your tits to think that hit the bar.

Bellingham deserves some criticism as well, he's been missing for most of the half.

Gordon has been the worst though, he's been totally outclassed by their RB and, for the last 10 minutes, doesn't want the ball, just sort of milling about on the wing not getting involved at all. He's gotta go at half time.

Thing is in a game like this - the best teams have 5-10 mins that gets the job done.  I think well find it at some point
