Madueke has done ok. Always been available, and drawn two defenders to create space for James, whose crossing has been atrocious.

Whereas Gordon's been in the Ghana right-back's pocket all game.
James looks like he is towing a caravan, has he heard of the offensive overlap?
Gordon I'd hook, looks a bit lost. Bellingham looking bang average.

Ghana are pretty much knocking Anderson out the game as well. They are fine with Konsa and Guehi in the ball but will pressure when Anderson is on it. As someone mentioned earlier, a Torres type CB would be needed here.

To be fair to bellingham - I think thats his role.  We have seen Rogers and Beundia like that this season and then they win us the game.

Konsa and Gaehi have had the most passes apparently. At least half of them were to each other I suspect.

Sure, but when nothings working and you're creating nothing the job shifts to you needing to have more of an influence. This is the point where Rogers, for example, would often get on it and drive through midfield and scare teams, or little Emi would have a pop for 20-25yards. You need to change the pattern of the game if you're the playmaker(s) and none of the 3 there for that have been. I agree with the earlier post that Madueke has been the best of them, but that's deep into tallest dwarf territory.

Really? Think he has been a big problem standing on the ball allowing Ghana to get back in their shape.

Handy to have TAA in reserve for games like this.

Exactly. Bellingham is considered to be a world class player, he should be able to step up and try something.
