Shame, but we have our hands tied behind our backs financially and ultimately London always trumps Birmingham for footballers. The lifestyle and the money

All our midfielders healthy, who is he getting in the team ahead of? Onana, Kamara and Tielemans all better players than him.
Onana can't stay fit and we're in several comps, need a squad.

The problem it really highlights is how the bollocks about us not being allowed to spend money is totally unfair and is a timely reminder of the miracles Unai is performing with one hand tied behind his back.

We should be much more concerned that we couldn't complete a deal that in today's money isn't a lot for good footballer, who is still quite young who would have improved us. That's a major issue as we try to secure CL football and other silverware.

It’s because he wanted to go to Spurs. He’s turned us down before. Knobhead. Doesn’t deserve his own thread. Now we look like cucks.

Ahh, doing these threads is no harm, no foul as far as I'm concerned. Nothing wrong with a bit of opinion about someone who may be coming, or not as the case may be!

We don't look like anything. Tomorrow we will still be Aston Villa, in 3rd place in the league, headed into the 4th Rd of the FA Cup and knockout stages of the Europa. They will still be Tottenham throwing money at the problem with utterly shit fans and manager.

Spurs is the easy choice. Easy life, turmoil off the pitch, maybe no european football next season.

There’s a thread to do that already.

I don’t believe in jinxing. I just don’t want Tottenham’s Conor fucking Gallagher to needlessly have a thread of his own. Staining this great site.

I know. I was just joking really. About you ruining everything. Again.

But I do strongly feel there’s no need to start a thread based on Townley saying we’re signing someone.

Do Spurs fans realise they've signed an ex Chelsea (from the age of 6) player?
And that doesnt mean anything to them?

Anyone who believes in jinxes needs to look in the mirror. No such thing. Shit happens especially in football, with players and agents. Very reputable sources suggested he was coming to us and then something happened at the 11th hour. We don't know if it was us pulling out, the player changing his mind when Tottenham came in for him or something else.
