End of the day if you have the choice to play under Unai at villa, but choose Frank and Spurs then his decision making is woeful and we dont need him.

By the sounds of it he was keen to come. Imagine we probably offered a loan deal with vague promises of payment at some point if he plays seventy games, scores ninety goals and we win every competition, including the one from which we have already been knocked out, and Tottenham gazumped us by offering actual money.

He may feel our midfield doesn’t guarantee him a game every week and he’d be right.

If he did genuinely choose Spurs over us then it’s probably for the best. Frustrating though.

I imagine the player didn't have a choice. Atletico like any club would want the deal done now for £35M instead of a loan and probably less in the summer from us so accepted the Spurs offer immediately...regardless if Connor wanted us or not.

They’re saying £26m on Sky.

Ive never in my life been bothered about us signing Connor Gallagher and now I’m very disappointed we’re not signing Connor Gallagher.

At least we won't have another Kieran Clarke situation.

John Percy (Telegraph) reporting with a 6:14pm byline

" Tottenham Hotspur have also displayed interest in signing the former Chelsea midfielder, but Gallagher is only intent on moving to Villa ..."

Frank could be out of a job on Saturday night!

So could Toronto.
I’m not sure TV gets a stay until the weekend !!!!!!!

I'm going to do a Footy style departure announcement soon.

Is this a classic case of getting dumped and saying I never fancied her/him anyway

I imagine they are pissing themselves at us having this thread on the Spurs forum right now.

I must not know what “miving” means.

Absolutely, Spurs are absolutely desperate so will throw more cash at him but any footballer with ambition picks playing for Emery at Villa Park over getting booed onto their entertainment complex.
