The collective drop off in form this season across the whole team is alarming. None of the basics are being done correctly and we look lost and confused in possession. The lack of fluidity is notable. A change is needed but it's hard to see what gets fixed first...
* Second half pressure without precision or threat. * Buendia comfortably offering the most threat in our attack. * Guessand with some great tackles! Dealt with Joe really well. * Thought Konsa (apart from letting Barry through) was very good.* Rodgers far too sloppy when he the ball in key moments. Can’t be relied upon to consistently use the ball wisely.* Digne looking very off the pace and quite slow. * If Beto could finish Everton would have been out of sight early.* Watkins no service but equally offered nothing off the ball.* Our set pieces this season have offered zero threat.* Cash on set pieces and just generally (sigh). * Better second half (in keeping with our other games) but our attack patterns are very predictable and have been nullified fairly comfortably dealt by average opposition. Get the ball down the left, full back crossing nothing. * We have no threat down our right side at present.* Everton deserved to win so a point is decent in the circumstances. * Worryingly, the performances aren’t getting better. * Lindelof in central midfield is indicative our recruitment. * We have no momentum at present.

Most teams would struggle without 4 centre-mids.
I think what is concerning is that these players only a few months ago bounced back and utterly battered probably the best team in the world at VP. What’s going on?
