What issues are those? yes we have had FFP issues but no goals in 5 games, playing utter turd in all of them. What am i missing? Look at glasmer at Palace  lost some key players but doing wrll with what he has

Add the fact we are creating virtually  nothing against poor sides isnt that reason to be concerned clampy.?

I don’t think anyone will disagree that it can’t go on like this - it obviously can’t. I guess what it really comes down to is if you think Unai can correct course or not. I’m in the camp where I think he definitely can, but he evidently has to change how he’s doing things right now.

What concerns me is, although players have been away for internationals, he's had two whole weeks to think about what to do, and the outcome was that crap starting XI, and the same old turgid going-nowhere bollocks we've seen for too long now.

He will sort it out. I just hope it is sooner rather than later.

Clearly something is very wrong at Villa, a more accomplished opposition in front of goal today and we would have got hammered, its difficult to put your finger on the problem, have we got players out there that expected to leave this summer, has Uni lost the dressing room in a none aggressive way, like kids at school that get bored, can't be arsed, ultimately don't listen or is it simply the fact that Uni plays one type of football and just about every other side in the Prem have us banged to rights before we even step onto the pitch.

One things for sure we carry on like this start to the season has been and we will struggle to stay up.

The most frustrating thing about today is Everton are still a really poor team and we missed out on three easy points.

Before today Everton had only lost three of their last 18 home league games (and one of those defeats was against Villa). And we're the first away team ever to gain a point at their current ground!

This is my view too. We needed upgrades and didn’t get them. Consequently we look stale. You can’t stand still in football cos you are actually going backwards

It all feels like 2007-2010 to me. The climb then the decline but this time it's all the clubs fault for banking on Chumps League money.

* Second half pressure without precision or threat.
* Buendia comfortably offering the most threat in our attack.
* Guessand with some great tackles! Dealt with Joe really well.
* Thought Konsa (apart from letting Barry through) was very good.
* Rodgers far too sloppy when he the ball in key moments. Can’t be relied upon to consistently use the ball wisely.
* Digne looking very off the pace and quite slow.
* If Beto could finish Everton would have been out of sight early.
* Watkins no service but equally offered nothing off the ball.
* Our set pieces this season have offered zero threat.
* Cash on set pieces and just generally (sigh).
* Better second half (in keeping with our other games) but our attack patterns are very predictable and have been nullified fairly comfortably dealt by average opposition. Get the ball down the left, full back crossing nothing.
* We have no threat down our right side at present.
* Everton deserved to win so a point is decent in the circumstances.
* Worryingly, the performances aren’t getting better.
* Lindelof in central midfield is indicative our recruitment.
* We have no momentum at present.
