Boring.

Emery furious at the end.

it was a waste of a Saturday afternoon.
Well, just maybe if he didn’t send out a team that appears to be shackled, things might improve ?
I said before, the players looked bored.

I feel sorry for whoever is trying to find 'highlights' of our matches on MOTD...

Having watched the Brentford v Chelsea game just now it kind of rubs in how spectacularly poor we have been.
We’re too slow all over the pitch, too narrow, our set pieces are largely poor, we can’t keep possession, our ‘star’ players are not performing, we’re predictable, we’re just boring to watch and we even had problems taking f***ing throw ins today.
Tonight’s London derby was like watching a different sport.
There are players though who are showing that they want to be here, worryingly there are signs of players who don’t.

The collective drop off in form this season across the whole team is alarming. None of the basics are being done correctly and we look lost and confused in possession. The lack of fluidity is notable. A change is needed but it's hard to see what gets fixed first...

My brother phoned me at 14.59 to make sure I was awake for the game and at the moment he's the biggest c*nt in the world to me.

I finished work at 6 this morning and I’ve stayed up all day to watch shit football.
Jaysus, thats commitment. I finished at 6, set my alarm for 2.55. Wish I'd just stayed in bed.

Committed? I should be.

Anyway, they didn’t ruin my weekend and overall I’m still optimistic. Confidence is the key. We’ve still got loads of good players.

Anyone know who the official man of the match was? Wasn't Grealish was it? Probably either him or Ndiaye I suppose.

Ndaiye for me. Didn’t think Grealish wasn’t anything special. Buendia for us.

Rogers needs some time on the bench. He has been rubbish for a long time and is riding the reputation he made in the first half of last season along with a couple of good games for England. Emery should mix it up a bit because we have been served up some horrible football.

I don’t think in 40 years I’ve ever really seen players look bored, in the way I see boredom, e.g. my 15 year old son, at various points in the average day.
Low on confidence, lacking in motivation playing for a particular club, but bored nah.
I guess you’ll have a view on this being linked to Emerys methods, video analysis and the like, but there’s bo evidence for boredom, just tactics that aren’t working at the moment, injuries, players that have lost form and new players yet to bed in.
