I reckon Ramsey will make the next England squad.
I hope Slot's comments can break the injunction a little bit on Newcastle's 'style' of (for want of a better word) 'play'. They're just Stoke with fewer excuses.
Quote from: Holte132 on Today at 09:22:59 AMDid you notice that Newcastle lost last night but moved up a place in the table? I think I preferred it when tables weren't shown until 4 games had been played, so those sort of quirks had ironed themselves out.Pretty sure that they started the match ahead of us on points then went below on alphabetical order, then on GD, then back above us on GS, then on points, finally remaining ahead on GS. But as theirs was the only game yesterday and they finished it on the same points but worse GD, there is no way they could have gone up vs before k.oI like the early tables because they produce little quirks like Sunderland leading, giving that little thrill of incongruity that is lost as the table sorts itself out later on (2015-16 excepted)

Yep. I can't help but feel that the pressure of starting the day only separated by alphabetical order affected both teams.

Liverpool manager Arne Slot said "he is not too sure he saw a football match" in reference to Newcastle United's gameplan during his side's 3-2 win at St James' Park. The Reds' 16-year-old forward Rio Ngumoha scored a 100th-minute winner in a breathless match during which Newcastle fought back from 2-0 down with 10 men.Opta's statistics indicate the ball was in play for 40.8% of the match - the lowest percentage in a Premier League match since February 2010."I'm not too sure if I saw a football match," Slot told Sky Sports after the game."It was set-piece after set-piece, long throws. It didn't have a lot to do with tactics. But I liked a lot how we stood strong."
