Re the Palace disallowed goal. A rules has been dug up which I’ve never heard of and I’m pretty sure hasn’t been enforced before. Seems like a case of protecting the Big 6. Can someone explain what I’m missing.
Watching chevalier for PSG. One serious save to make so far. He palmed it into a dangerous area but was helped out by his defender buying a free kick.
My memory is clearly not great. I’m not doubting the law exists but a cursory glance on Twitter gives at least 3 recent examples where goals have been scored in the same circumstances and not disallowed (Chelsea benefitting vs Bournemouth last season). The issue is inconsistent application. I’m not against VAR per se but it cannot be applied inconsistently.
