Why wasn't this a concern a week ago, on the day of the awards? We didn't lose because of an awards ceremony, we lost because we didn't play very well.
Same can be said of the post match criticism of the Ref choice . Or did the club flag this before the game ??

Not sure it really matters.

It apparently does for the ones who want to blame everything bad on the club. It wouldn't have even been mentioned if the result had gone our way on Sunday.

This is exactly what it is. Sometimes you have to wonder why they support such a shambolic club.

You would have thought it was ok to discuss what the club does on a site devoted to the club and to try and look for reasons as to why we had to experience what happened Sunday.
Why people have to take criticism of the club personally, I know not why.
Of course it’s hard for all of us to live up to the better fan than you brigade in all of their self righteousness.
My opinion, it was a stupid fkin idea to have an end of season do before the end of the season with such a critical game coming up.

Because my dad and my grandad took me when I was 7 mate.
Is that ok?

But where was this criticism on the day of the awards, the day after the awards or the day after that? I didn't see any from anyone and I include Social Media in that.

You’ll have to excuse me for being critical about blaming an awards evening for why we didn’t perform on Sunday. There maybe things to assess over the selection and why we can’t get over the line but that’s surely isn’t one of them.
I may have missed the pictures of the players coming out drunk and if I have then I apologise.

Chicago, this just comes across as looking for reasons to be annoyed and angry and to be quite frank looks like performative miserablism. I can think of plenty of reasons to get annoyed with the club but when they hold their end of season do isn’t one of them.

What should the players have been doing instead?

Tucked up in bed before 9pm with headphones to have a loop of Emery's tactics to program them when they sleep. Because they missed it that one night, we fucked up on Sunday.

More to the point imagine the atmosphere at the awards if they were this week. Reminder not to ask Chicago not organise any parties for me.

That said I can only imagine Unai was on the lash last week. Also, and more concerning, I wonder if Unai maintains the traditional Basque method of drinking, basically down in one. It would explain a lot.

Of course the club can do no wrong. How dare we challenge the way that the club treats the most important game of the season!
