It apparently does for the ones who want to blame everything bad on the club. It wouldn't have even been mentioned if the result had gone our way on Sunday.

This is exactly what it is. Sometimes you have to wonder why they support such a shambolic club.

Well, on the basis that you spend all of your time having a go at other posters and making everything personal. I work on the basis that I am perfectly happy to discuss debate any opinion until the point I get attacked then I respond.
I never start the personal stuff but I do react.

If you read back and look at the form on here, there are plenty of times where someone makes a point and then there is a pile on.
As I said above I don’t start the personal stuff but I do respond.
It would be great if there were counter arguments and discussion and I really enjoy that but sadly it is the exception.
Why some posters need to make it personal I have no idea. When I meet Villa fans in the real world there is an automatic connection a shared bond, on here it seems that there is joy in having a go at Villa fans. I don’t get it.

You'd be hard pushed to make a case that the awards night had an effect on Sundays abject performance, but as its cost us £100m I also don't think, in a sporting world of small margins, its timing shouldn't be looked at in the wider review of why we saved our worst performance for the most important game.

Of course. But the point remains, what should they have done instead? By all accounts they weren't drinking, weren't put under any stress and do what they've always done. I doubt very much that Emery would have been popular having another meeting, they'd have already been on the pitch that day and having a positive event would have lifted the mood.
