Here's a message from the ticket office to all of our loyal and much valued season ticket holders.

If you haven't got a compatible smartphone - you can do one.

If you have got a compatible smartphone, but can't get the app to work- you can also do one.

If you have got a compatible phone, and can get the app working, but can't hook up with your son/daughter/dad/mates acount, phone or app - guess what? You can do one.

If you want to phone the ticket office on your compatible smartphone - haven’t you got the message yet? Go and do one.

In fact - you can all fucking do one.

We’ve got your money and couldn't give a toss about our utterly shite customer service.

See you all on Saturday.

Dont forget to get into the ground good and early to take advantage of our new partnerships with Guinness, Coca-cola and Red Buil

Even Doug Ellis wouldn’t have behaved like that.

There’s a lot Villa have got right on and off the pitch in recent years but I’d sack all the higher ups in the ticket office and start again

@AVFCSupport. "The official account for the Aston Villa ticketing team", has posted 19 different messages today on X from 9:30am onwards.

Mild state of panic, methinks.

I've downloaded the tickets & added them to Google Wallet no problems.

I've just had 3 emails from the club with print at home tickets.

I think they're aware there's a problem.

I'm really hacked off with the ticket office.

This wednesday my dad went in to have QE to have his 3rd surgery to remove cancer in 18 months and had half his liver removed - I waited until he went in to surgery on wednesday morning before I put our season tickets up for re-sale on Saturday just in case his op got cancelled.

Our seats are on the halfway line, DE Upper, with a view as good as the owners have, so always sell really quickly when we sell them as a pair.

After I put them up for sale, both tickets were giving the "you have requested to re-sell your ticket" sort of thing.

After I put them up for sale, I went into the ticket website (logged out in another browser) to see if they were on sale and how many others were.

Mine was showing for purchase but my dad's wasn't. I think and still think this is some sort of malfunction because he has been approved for a physical card and been sent a print-at-home ticket for tomorrow.

I clearly explained all of the above to the ticket office in an email and X message including a screenshot of my seat up for sale but not the one next to it.

I've had no reply to the email but they did reply in X on Thursday morning to say the tickets had been put up for resale, so I thought everything was OK until I got back from the hospital to see my dad's ticket still wasn't  available for purchase.

I re-messaged them yesterday afternoon, directed their attention to the screenshot again and pre-empted any bulls*** response by saying there was no way my dad's seat could have been constantly in someone's basket for over 48 hours.

I got a reply around lunchtime today saying my dad's ticket must be in someone's basket.

I reply again to say that was ridiculous and have heard nothing since.

I've tried ringing approx. 250 times over the last 2 days to try and explain to a human being but they won't even put you in a queue - you are just told they are too busy.  I even selected option 1 (membership) out of desperation. the nice guy who answered tried to put me through and failed.

My ticket hasn't sold because single tickets often don't and my dad's ticket hasn't sold because nobody can buy it.

The Club are happy to have 197 draconian rules around season tickets and getting into the ground but don't have the decency to  answer the phone. I really feel like they don't give a toss.

I am at a loss what to do and any help would be appreciated.
I have my season ticket and 4 others that I bought for members in my wallet without the bar code but a symbol at the top. My app now shows the tickets with a QR code with a red line running around it, these won’t go into my wallet as it states that they are already added. Do you think that we will gain access with these?

I've got the same problem with my own single ticket. Also, I received an email suggesting I can print off the ticket: don't have a printer!

How to get into the ground indeed!  >:(

Erm OK. Both tickets just sold. Taxi!

(But they still could have answered the bloody phone)
