You probably need to log into the app using your son’s membership login details — his ticket should be available there. Had the same situation myself (member purchased tickets for me and my son — mine was available in the app using my login, my sons under his login). But you can add both to your Apple / Google wallet on your phone so you have them available for entry on Saturday

It was fine last year by email ,  i see the aftermath of crap left after a game which I doubt is recycled .  Ignore me I am very down on the way things have to be bought these days

"All supporters will need to access their match tickets in the app this season, therefore if your device does not support the latest version, you will need to replace your device to be able to attend games at Villa Park going forward. For iOS (Apple) devices, you will require a device running iOS 16 or above and for Android (Google) devices it will need to run at Android 14 or above."

Thanks Villa.  I now wish I'd played on my (genuine) mental health disability and got a plastic card. It would have saved me buying a new phone.

I see the Villa App has updated and you need IOS 16 or above so it's not enough to have a smart phone - you now can't have a very old smart phone.

Fixed it for you being as IOS 16 is supported on 8 year old devices. (Which is ancient in phone tech terms).

Up until today, the phone had done everything I need it to, including getting into Villa Park.  I like the smaller size and I didn't see the need to fork out on a new one. I'd rather not have a smart phone altogether if possible because I think they are like mental crack cocaine.  Now 3 days before the season starts, I find out I need to buy a new one to use the season ticket I bought for nearly a grand.

I think they might issue a paper ticket for the Newcastle game in those circumstances if you (are able to get through to) phone them.

I feel all these apps are there to suit the provider not the customer , can you borrow one for the day ?

Unfortunately not. I'm going to have to see if the old app still works in the 1st instance and then bite the bullet and buy a new one if not.  The app didn't update until today and the newcastle ticket downloaded ok yesterday.

This is actually dead easy. I looked at all the instructions and thought oh can't be bothered with this, but having gone into the App, looked at tickets, seen both mine and my lads season ticket for Newcastle game in there, clicked add to wallet and job jobbed in 10 seconds.

Are we getting individual tickets for each game this season or will we get season tickets to download like last season

Sorry if this has been answered before I’m not following the thread as it’s well boring
