Does anyone know when memberships renewed, or if indeed they have. I seem to still be a member but haven’t had a notification.

I’m not certain but I think it’s a 12 month agreement from the date you took it out.

Cheers mate. I renewed around this time last year so I could get the pre-season games on Villa TV, which is what inspired me to check today. I’ve still got Villa TV so I’m okay so far.

Same (last season). My two kids’ memberships did, and I suspect I might not have had enough money for all of us in the account it comes out of. I’m always skint towards the end of the month.

That’s what I’m taking it as. I looked last night and clicked the auto renew tab but it came up with a message along the lines of, it’s not working or they’re no longer doing it.

An email went out saying that they won’t auto-renew, but you have to buy a new one through the ticketing portal, or something like that. May have dreamt it though.

From now on membership’s are purchased through the ticket section and no longer the membership section.

So the auto renews won’t work this year as it migrates.

I know this because I wanted to cancel my auto renew with getting a season ticket but they told me I don’t need to.

Of course they will charge extra if people keep paying whatever they ask. Expect that to be at least £5 next time round!

My mate had a GA+ ST last year but, having decided not to renew due to the price, was told that his attendance history wouldn't count towards his waiting list place. Anyway, the club ended up ringing him yesterday and told him that after discussions over the last few weeks, they've decided to allow the GA+ history to count and so he managed to buy a ST yesterday.

Not sure how many people this would have affected.

That's good that they have relented and allowed it to count

I do vaguely remember when the GA+ ST's were introduced they did say that anyone getting one would lose their posistion on the waiting list, might not be 100% on that though
