Think my son has just missed out as he had 144 pts and hasn’t had an email.

I have 143 points and got an email on 23 June saying I was 1506 in the queue. I’ve heard nothing since which fits the logic of 1300 season tickets being made available

It must be quite tight as you’ve ’only’ got 7 more points than me but almost 900 places higher.

I’m think that as it’s one point a game that there must actually be a lot of people with the same number of points.

They haven’t said how they put those in order, but I am guessing they revert back to time on the list?

I’m fairly sure the cut off this time was 147 points and a number between 1200 and 1300.

It's an interesting exercise.  I think in the short term they will have increased ticket demand as around 5k people scramble to make the ST cut in the next year or so.

But at the same time they have identified that the 'realistic' list is about only about 10k (ie people who have been to more than a handful of matches in the last 2 years.

Whilst they have rewarded loyalty, they have also given STs to people who were going to every game anyway but, from an income perspective alone, they would have made more money from someone who was going to 25-50% of games buying a ST than someone already going to every game.

I'm pleased for the people who have put in the hard yards and have their ticket.  I'm a bit uncomfortable about people who have been on the list for 5+ years being pipped at the post by people who may well not have been to many more games - you can see how tight it is around the 145 points mark.

My own view is they should not have reshuffled.  Most people going to less than a handful of games would probably have turned down the opportunity anyway and the majority of new tickets would have gone to worthy enough fans who had waited their turn.

Cheers for that. As you say, it’s really tight.

I travel a fair bit for work and so miss a number of games per season, plus not having a car makes midweek games really hard, which is why I haven’t had a season ticket for years. Until a couple of years ago it wasn’t a big deal as you could get a ticket for most games.

It will be hard for me to get to more games than I have in the last couple of seasons and build my points at a faster rate. I vaguely recall that domestic cup games will earn more points than league games in our new cock eyed world. Does anybody recall if that is right?

It’s up to you but if you carry on at the same rate I think you will get one next time given the take up percentage is so high. It’s two points for cup games and I do wonder how many will want to go to Europa League games - it will depend on the price and our form.

I think they were right to reconstitute the waiting list. Apparently they offered a few hundred tickets last year and had to go to 10000 on the waiting list until they could sell them. That’s a waste of club employees time and now they are actually rewarding loyalty!

If only they’d included those in home ends at away Champions League matches!

Ha, you’re right about home end tickets. I’ve clocked up Legia Warsaw, Zrjinski, Lille, Bruges, Leipzig and Monaco in the past 2 seasons 😊 I’m running out of fake accents….

I'm not sure if this is the right place but my points total has gone from 1210 to 1000 today. Does anyone know why and has it happened to anyone else?

No idea why but mine is 1000 too.

Perhaps the TO techies starting to get ready for the new season totals?

Does anyone know when memberships renewed, or if indeed they have. I seem to still be a member but haven’t had a notification.

I’m not certain but I think it’s a 12 month agreement from the date you took it out.
