Does it give any indication when anyone is re-locating as to how many seats will be available for new ST's??

You could only relocate via phone, so no hallmap to view to gauge numbers of seats free. I eventually got through after three hours of trying, moved just across the aisle from L3 to L2 and saved myself £187 in the process.

I've just had an email offering the chance to buy an ST from tomorrow, I was 895 on the new list, so looks like quite a few are on offer

Yes, I think that, like myself and my brother have given ours up after approx 25/30 years, a lot of others have too. My thoughts are that it’s partially the cost plus, a certain amount of disconnect from the club, especially their handling of the CL prices and the shambles surrounding the FA Cup semi final.

900 would equate to less than 4% of season ticket holders, which I'd assume would be considered normal.

Yes, law of large numbers applies here. It’s normal.

Hearing more and more anecdotal evidence of a fair few not renewing .

I didn't and I'm 1949, so all things being equal I'll qualify in the next year or two.

Which is frustrating, because my son won't and we want to go together.

I wonder if you did get offered one next season could you turn it down and wait for the North Stand to be finished and keep your place in the list?  If so then with memberships and attendance over the next couple of seasons you might be okay to get two together, as there could be another 2-3k STs released from 2027.

Would you not be better getting one on your own and then relocating next to him once he is allowed to get one? Maybe they'll let you keep your place in the queue if you contact them to explain.

Yeah, I reckon if you get offered one and turn it down, that will be it, to the back of the queue you go!

My dilemma too. Me and my two youngest went to very few different games over the last two seasons, yet have ended up quite far apart on the waiting list. I’m highest, but if I get one and my son doesn’t there will be many occasions where my son’s games will clash with Villa’s. I think I’ll have to sort out that friends and family list and my wife and cousin will end up going to quite a few games on our behalf.
