At the very least, let's hope there's some decent concerts at VP next summer. ;)

I renewed yesterday.......about 4 hours later I got an email saying my ST will be released on Friday 4th July for others to purchase! I've got an email confirmation saying thank you for renewing! Confusing.
Has anyone enquired about physical ST cards? It looks like they're making this more difficult by going all digital. I still prefer the card as it's simpler on entry.

An old acquaintance has text me saying ‘season tickets for sale if you’re interested’. He can’t sell me his can he?

I believe it would have to remain in your friends name, essentially you’d be posing as them.

I've heard a story, not sure how true, that they have installed cameras everywhere and can zoom in on any face in the crowd, specifically looking out for season ticket misuse. Seems like a lot of effort & resource to me.

For the 2025/26 Aston Villa season, physical season tickets are primarily available to fans with medical exemptions. Aston Villa has transitioned to digital season tickets as the default method, with physical cards reserved for those who require them due to documented medical reasons.

To obtain a physical season ticket with a medical exemption, you'll need to contact the Aston Villa ticket office directly and provide necessary documentation to support your claim. The club will assess each case individually to determine eligibility.

Here's a breakdown:
   •   Digital Default:
The standard method for season tickets is digital, via the club's app or online platform.

   •   Medical Exemption:
Physical cards are issued to supporters with valid medical exemptions.

   •   Application Process:
You'll need to contact the ticket office and provide documentation to support your exemption request.

   •   Personal Assistant:
If a disabled supporter needs a personal assistant to attend matches, the club will admit the assistant free of charge, provided they meet the criteria for providing support.

   •   Other Considerations:
There may be other circumstances where a physical card is necessary, such as for those with limited access to technology, but the primary focus is on digital tickets.

When I contacted the Villa tkt office, they gave me an email address to send a request for a physical season card to.

I am sure this is discriminatory. Hardly inclusive.

I haven’t received any notice about my season ticket renewal. Maybe they’ve been reading H&V to see that I wasn’t renewing!! End of an era for me too but it’s just got too expensive. I certainly won’t miss the long walk to the ground and the security search to get into the ground. Good news for those on the million waiting list as I think many more will give up their season tickets for the season after next,
