I'm doubtful the demand this year will be as much as last year, when everyone was giddy from the European Cup.You can guarantee the tickets page will crash even if we get Harrogate at home in the League Cup.

And that is aside from the hundreds of GA+ seats that were clearly empty at a lot of games.

Turning wins into draws on a regular basis I think stifled a bit of demand. At the end of the season it seemed things were starting to pick up again, but take the point about demand in general. I think plenty of people on here have said the way the club sells tickets to Members and beyond doesn’t help to fill Villa Park, for most games we always seem to end up with single seats spread everywhere which means looking for two or god forbid three together is virtually impossible not great for families or people who want to sit together. The trouble is without blocking out blocks of seats and moving more people invariably season ticket holders to accommodate this it’s going to be difficult. Heck of course was so infatuated with his Hospitality/GA+ offerings he seems to forget about the 25-30k of us who were worried about how things were progressing for us and the 5-10k members who were constantly scrabbling for tickets.

With the extortionate Champions League tickets and a run to the FA Cup semi-final a lot of us had to pick and choose in a way we hadn't before.
I think I may have asked this before, but is it known how many members there currently are? I know I'm one, and have been for a few years now, but I would have no interest in having a season ticket, and suspect this may well be the case for the large majority of current members.
