Am i right in hearing our waiting list is 45000 now ?

I’ve been posting this for ages. A bloke at work is number 45,111. Me and the kids are at the 37,000 mark, having had to drop 8,000 places when my daughter joined me and my son on the list.

sorry i missed that ,  was looking at films on summer transfers

When you have taken your girls have you used their own references? Will they survive the waiting list cull and move up?

Have no idea what number I am or how to check, but joined 3 years ago, so guessing I'm absolutely no where. I'm probably one of the fake numbers as not sure I'd take it up now. Few games a season will do me. See how I feel in 10 years when my number comes up.

That's the figure they were discussing on TalkShite this morning. Apparently come from one of the owners but I only caught the tail end.

They are probably giving some time for the ones who have to move to decide where they are going before then opening up for normal renewals / potential voluntary move requests.
I had a email telling me due to seating changes my seat was being relocated to exactly the same block row and number it is now. Very strange.

They're also convinced by magic, Narnia and that a 60,000 seater stadium will be built in Bordesley.

It got to 45,000 and now they have reorganised and removed 46 per cent for not buying any tickets in the last two years.

So currently it is 23,000 and based on a points system related to membership and ticket purchases in the last two years.

They say they will let everyone know their position before any spare season tickets go on sale,

New people can join the waiting list but there will be a ten pounds charge.

It's in the ST info from the club

Quote
To reward loyalty and commitment from our active fans, we have reviewed and subsequently changed the Season Ticket Waiting List system.

At the end of the 2024/25 season, there were approximately 45,000 people on the waiting list: 46% of those have not bought a ticket in over two years (2023/24 and 2024/25).

The Club identified that there was a need to create a genuine list which prioritises dedicated supporters through a transparent points-based system, particularly in light of the ongoing stadium expansion and the significant number of season tickets that will be available in 2-years’ time.

This requirement has resulted in the following changes to the waiting list criteria:

To be honest, it’s pretty difficult to get any decent ticket without a membership anyway.

Same block and row, but probably moved in actual location you are used to. I think after last year, when they did North and Holte and had some complaints from people who had moved / no longer close to an aisle / no longer had an aisle behind them, they are letting those people also know in advance.
