Yeah, from what they said about the number of new people at cup games, it sounds like a lot of season ticket holders have given them a miss. So it makes sense they want to encourage people to come.

Season ticket holders who don’t go to the cup games should be penalised by being forced to watch us at Wembley.

Does that mean having to go and visit Trump?

They’re perfectly happy when season ticket holders don’t attend. My lad sold his ticket back to the club for £33. They promptly sold it to a Japanese vlogger for £80, he spent a fortune at the club shop and promoted the club abroad via his videos of the experience (no doubt).

I still haven't received an email about renewing, should I have done?
(Apologies if this has been clarified earlier in the thread).

I haven't had one yet, so nothing to worry about. I think they will be soon from what the sales dates suggested.

I don't think they will let any of us easily forget we could be giving them money!  ;D

They are probably giving some time for the ones who have to move to decide where they are going before then opening up for normal renewals / potential voluntary move requests.

Villa provide Villa Park expansion update as season ticket holders relocated

https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/aston-villa-provide-villa-park-31754229#ICID=Android_BMNewsApp_AppShare

Double speak.

Making things better, by shitting on the regulars.

As someone who was worried about being displaced earlier, I would have accepted it. We need higher capacity, and we need to to box smart. It's shit, but this time next summer most moved fans will be fine.

I was moved from the trinity upon relegation, I love my current seat even more.

I cant wait to see the stadium once it's plus 50K.
I have been a ST holder for 57 years and every time I have been forced relocated I have had an inferior seat. Was
on halfway line middle trinity and twice moved along until i was level with penalty area. (For expanding corporate areas) Moved to upper trinity in 2013 after my father passed away because no concessions in that area. Moved to seat upper trinity on halfway line, was then moved to Doug Ellis Upper when we were relegated in 2015 to an absolutely shit seat top corner of stand almost level with corner flag at Holte End. Got middle trinity halfway line seat back when we got promoted and now being moved to near the penalty area away from halfway line. So don't tell me I will love my new seat more, you patronising g*t. How many of the prawn sandwich brigade were there in Division 3 and in the championship and in the crowd of 12000 to play Charlton in Division 2 in 1968.  They can't even be bothered to give a goodwill gesture of a discount or a store voucher for the inconvenience, because they know that if i do not renew my ticket then somebody will be waiting to grab it. Angry doesn't even get close. Europa League ticket prices are going to be sold at prices in excess of most clubs Champions League ticket prices. Screw the supporters for the sake of an extra few quid which barely makes a pin hole in the revenues.  If normal businesses screwed their customers like football clubs do then they would leave and take their business elsewhere to a competitor. Being a football fan my options are BCFC, WBA, WW so in reality no option except take it or leave it. Rant over.

I wasn't trying to be patronising, I have been moved before too, was just trying to provide some hope that it's not always bad. Apologies if it came across that way.

I'm not so sure they want us all to renew.

I’ve been posting this for ages. A bloke at work is number 45,111. Me and the kids are at the 37,000 mark, having had to drop 8,000 places when my daughter joined me and my son on the list.

I was about 2,000 on the list two years ago. Surely 2,000 of you have had enough now?
