Is there any deadline for transferring your ticket? Like say you suddenly got ill the morning of the game, is that too late to put the ticket up for sale? My dad has sometimes decided he is too ill too go about two hours before kick off having given it until the last possible minute to see if he feels any better.

You could list it up to an hour before kick off this season. Of course, no guarantee it sells.

ALso looks like more accessible seats in the corner of the Holte and the Witton.

Hopefully, any new App might reinstate the print at home option so the ticket can be used by someone else

Thanks. Yeah they have said it still counts as one of your 14/19 even if it remains unsold. I think he will be more worried about getting kicked off the season ticket list for non-attendance than he is about losing the money.

It states that ST holders are required to use their ST at least 14 times, I take that as you need to attend 14 games, and can exchange or sell back to the club 5 times.

As with most communications that come out of Villa, there is some ambiguity about season ticket usage. My daughter who works in comms and her colleague who deals in football related comms specifically believes it reads as the seat needs to be used 14 out of 19 times either through the season ticket holder attending or through transfer or through re-sale. She doesn't think it's well written, but that it seems to match with other clubs' usage policies.

Whilst not disagreeing with what you colleague and her colleague say, the situation at Man City is different. One of my neighbours shares his ST with his grandson (Normally 10 v 9 per season). This is allowed by the ST being transferred to his grandson for the number of games that he attends. Next season, the primary ST holder has to attend 14 of the 19 PL games to maintain his ST. The only option he has after the club confirming the 14 actual attendance figure is for the ST not being transferred to his grandson for more than 5 PL games.

No- it's 16 uses (transfer/sell allowed) of which 10 games must be personally attended. The obvious way around this is to access your ticketing account on an old phone and let that become your ticket.

This would be good, though I doubt they would do it as would render the request for eight friends pointless. They would also, presumably, want to have a pre-approved list of attendees so they can keep out away fans.

The Left picture is from the OS this morning, the right from the Premier league website.
You can clearly see the difference in the Trinity Upper layout. Looks like there will be a rejig of the blocks (from A1-A8 to A1-A9).

Any reason the left of the Trinity is price range 4 but similar seats on the right are price3? Is that because of the North Stand Roof?

Does this mean you can download a season ticket onto more than one phone wallet? It would be useful if either mine or my dad's phone packs up to have both tickets on one phone.

Interestingly though - they are encouraging you to declare exactly how you use your ticket.

What do you mean? Like 'is it shared?'

The fact that there’s an app to make it easier means that more people will us the app to share their ticket.

Currently, people might be sharing phones, passwords, printouts etc to share tickets, or maybe not passing them on because they don’t think there is a way -  but the new app will make it easier to just do it officially.

There has previously been a widespread myth that sharing STs is not allowed, & this clears that up.

Overall, club will be able to gather more reliable data on how STs are used.

I think rather than any nefarious motives, the club just want as many seats filled as possible, both for financial and supporting the team reasons.  I think encouraging people to share non-used ST seats is a good thing really, and if anything, the 14 game cut-off is very generous as it includes sharing OR just putting it up for resale.

There was too many games with empty seats last season.

I am less keen on the changes to the waiting list, in fact I think moving the goalposts like that is very wrong when some will have been waiting patiently for 5 years.  But one thing is for sure, it will increase ticket demand as people will feel obliged to attend as many games as possible to claw their way up the list.

Im sure Im being dense, please tell me that I am, but does the two pictures reflect a change in pricing structure, e.g. L1 and L2 in the holte, does the left picture indicate a move out of prize zone 4 for these sections?

Nope, I started it. The upper Holte shows 4, 3 and 2 zones colours and 1 is very claret as per upper Trinity. I wonder if the colours are wrong or more likely they are not selling ST's in those areas that appear closer to grey. I just noticed the family zone is now the area in the Trinity I mentioned (used to be Upper North).

Ah ok thanks. Our season tickets were always L2 in the Holte, but got shunted to L1 for last season, both sections always price zone 4, just can’t (or at least I can’t) see they are clearly PZ 4 from the left hand picture.
