If you list for exchange it still counts regardless of sale too.

It states actually attend, so maybe resale or transfer don’t count

It says "use" and one of the options for use is to exchange.

It’s says Attend, Use or Exhange, so are the 3 the same, so I could buy a ST and sell everyone back to the club and it wouldn’t make any difference then?

It states that ST holders are required to use their ST at least 14 times, I take that as you need to attend 14 games, and can exchange or sell back to the club 5 times.

The blurb above talks about supporting ST holders to make use of their ticket when they can't attend. It also says "will need to log 14 of 19 ticket uses". I interpret this as any of the options listed.

Attend, share and exchange. If they meant attend, surely they would say that.

So 24,300 now on waiting list and wonder how this rejig affects things. It was relatively easy to get a members ticket for Wembley on attending the three home games.

How do you know that number? Have I missed something.

They say 46 per cent haven’t attended matches in the last two years and they are taking them off so that’s 54 per cent of 45,000.
That'll see my kid taken off the list then. Not that young but still younger than when I first went. Every time I offer to get them a ticket (probably four or five times over the last two seasons) they say "not this time".

I'd like to think that maybe the club would offer an amnesty for those under a certain age on the list, you know, to maybe give the next generation an incentive, but I imagine that there's no way that would happen.

I’m not sure if Heck has left yet, his influence is diminishing or he has been having lessons, the website article about ST’s, the processes and the guidelines, feels a little ‘softer / kinder / gentler’ than we have been used to ?
More user friendly, is probably the best way to describe it.

Or maybe I’m just becoming an old softie.

Women's team attendance getting you points is good.
You think?

I have a ST so am not directly impacted, but for someone who spends money travelling a long distance to most games will be penalised on the waiting list because they can't also go to women games?

It sounds ridiculous to me.

So basically If you work shifts, with all the games moved for TV on Mondays and Fridays and then other midweek games thrown in you are screwed.

"These changes do mean that the seating configuration for the 2025/26 has been updated. As such, unfortunately some season ticket holders will be relocated from last season’s seat. All affected Season Ticket Holders will be notified via email, no later than 5:00pm on Friday, May 30, 2025, how they have been impacted by these developments, and what their options will be."
Yes Im a bit paranoid about this after my experiences of last year. Im in zone 4 lower holte, so cheapest seats effectively. Last year they moved us, albeit not that far but still even further to the right edge of the holte as your facing the pitch. This was to make room for rail seating. Im just paranoid that the cheaper seat holders are primed to be moved again, simply because we pay less. Hopefully I am just being paranoid, will know by this time tomorrow.

I'm upper witton and got a bad feeling we are prime for some reconfigurations.

Yep. I will be concentrating on EL games and using my holidays for them. I’ll be able to watch most of the league games on telly, but will attend a few at weekends.

Some people on the waiting list are nippers yet to be born or those not long since hatched.

My five on the list are in that group.

They were down to 3,000 on the list and have waited patiently for the club to build the new stand.

Now they've been removed from the list.

It's unethical of the club to retrospectively change the rules for being on 'their' waiting list.

It states that ST holders are required to use their ST at least 14 times, I take that as you need to attend 14 games, and can exchange or sell back to the club 5 times.

As with most communications that come out of Villa, there is some ambiguity about season ticket usage. My daughter who works in comms and her colleague who deals in football related comms specifically believes it reads as the seat needs to be used 14 out of 19 times either through the season ticket holder attending or through transfer or through re-sale. She doesn't think it's well written, but that it seems to match with other clubs' usage policies.

No it's not. I can't afford to travel for all their games as well, especially considering I'm just not as interested in women's football.

Same, I don’t live very far but have very little interest in the Women’s team. I generally like the points system idea though.
