Those kits should dry out just in time for next Saturday . UTFV.

They’ll be fine in the typical English midsummer.
Exactly standard temps in U.K. High summer 25-30c we will be fine . Unless we get a heatwave of course  .

Second half was really good, has Garcia played any pre season?

He started a couple of the earlier games then got his knock.

Defence was a bit iffy early on, I suspect in part because Konsa was babysitting Rowe a little too much and it meant the gap between him and Torres was too wide. Second half they clearly had a chat about it and looked much more comfortable.

At the other end Ollie didn't get much service in the first half but was sharp enough to take his chance to round out a genuinely brilliant pre-season for him. Bailey looks lost, no confidence and, as a result, he just looks like he's not interested, not working back enough and giving the ball away cheaply. Everyone else did well and got better in the 2nd half, Buendia still frustrates me with his sloppy passing and Jimoh isn't ready for more than cameos here and there but they're both worth having around the squad. Guessand looks a real handful.

Overall for pre-season I think Watkins, Tielemans, Onana and Rogers (until his injury) have been exceptional and Malen looks like he's settled in brilliantly but will probably play on the right more then up top, where he's looked a bit light-weight. Defensively it's been a mixed bag and we still look like we have too many simple mistakes in us but Bizot looks like a great signing and Bogarde has stepped up well.

Or, instead of posting things are very easily proven wrong you could actually check what the monthly average temperatures in the UK are and not look like a complete tit. - https://www.climatestotravel.com/temperatures/united-kingdom

July and August long-term average = 19c

No, I already know what that is.

Well, I know what naivety and brainwashing is, but naive brainwashing isn’t a thing I’ve heard of.

Yes, because recorded measurements and statistical averages are clearly part of the BBC comspiracy to make people think it's hotter than it really is, the bastards.

Anyway back to the game. Buendia great game .
Martinez kept us in it first half .
2nd half we stepped it up .
Atmosphere zero . We struggled in Marseille vs hostile atmosphere. Tonight suited us .
Good workouts though .

On the feed I got which wasn’t Villa TV the commentators said a trophy for the winner would be awarded. Didn’t see anything after the final whistle, anybody else?

TBF to Coops, he apparently is not bothered about it as he has already told us he is not bothered twice in the not bothered thread.

Nice to see though that apart from the heat wave days and one other, no highest temperature seemed to go above 25, with about the same amount of days not even exceeding 20C. Even this month today, 10 days in and leading into the heatwave, is the first one to even go about 25.

No idea. Something similar happened the other day for I think Spurs.

If there is one, I hope it's called the 'Ringo Starr Cup'.

“Anyway back to the game” he says after yet another example of him posting absolute nonsense is factually debunked.
