On the feed I got which wasn’t Villa TV the commentators said a trophy for the winner would be awarded. Didn’t see anything after the final whistle, anybody else?

No idea. Something similar happened the other day for I think Spurs.

Yes, because recorded measurements and statistical averages are clearly part of the BBC comspiracy to make people think it's hotter than it really is, the bastards.

TBF to Coops, he apparently is not bothered about it as he has already told us he is not bothered twice in the not bothered thread.

Nice to see though that apart from the heat wave days and one other, no highest temperature seemed to go above 25, with about the same amount of days not even exceeding 20C. Even this month today, 10 days in and leading into the heatwave, is the first one to even go about 25.

Wow .....after winning the Ceramica trophy who could blame our boys for spending the night on the tiles.

:)

As long as they don't invite any of Villareal's new signings.

Buendia will probably go missing when we play a competitive match against the likes of Newcastle but be a stand out against a Sunderland.

He was a stand out the last time he played against Newcastle.
