We won't be starting with any of the 11 from tonight and I would be surprised if any of them, apart from Evann, come on (assuming he doesn't start).

It looked like he spat at Onana to me
I thought that. He’s not a pleasant being

So we play Villarreal tomorrow night? Seems too close to this game in sweltering heat. I know they'll rotate but it's far too soon between games. We got kicked all over the place tonight so there's bound to be players carrying knocks. The ref was weak and basically shite tonight!

Compared to the vast majority of FIFA English referees I though he did his best under extreme circumstances and much better than we see each week. Other than abandoning the game, he wasn't left with much choice other than to throw out numerous yellow cards. Happiest man in the stadium to blow up for full time.

Silly schedule . Two home games ideal. Silly .

Horrible Horrible club and team. The woman beating scumbag has found the perfect match. And they have Neil Maupay. That total twat of  a manager is building a team in his image. Vile. And I dont think I would ever get tired of punching Maupay in the face.

We don't even have a pitch right now. I'm pretty sure a lot of thought goes into the scheduling and the manager would have an input. I also think they were probably totally caught out by Marseille and their approach to what was supposed to be a pre season warm up. Their staff, their players and their supporters seemed to think it was a fight to the death. Fucking nutters.

It's a 29 man squad! We could play 2 completely different teams and have 7 players who only come on as subs.

Fantastic atmosphere - there fans are very loud - liked the song they were singing to the “jingle bells theme”

They were by far the better team and in the 2nd half we just could not pass our way out of their press

Watched Mings before the game kicked off and he looked as though he was having a teenager sulk - just kicking a piece of grass, he was very poor and they certainly recognised that he is not very good with the ball at his feet

I am surprised that Greenwood has not been signed by a premier league team he stood out as their best player , excellent finish for his goal - Digne struggled to cope with him and he had the beating of Digne

Interesting coming out the stadium seeing the police and army with their machine guns - I assume the threat of terrorism was the reason for this and not the 500 Villa fans!!!

I think there might be a reason Premier League clubs won’t touch him.

There is no doubting Greenwood’s talent and ability, he looked a quality player yesterday, but there is no way anyone in the Premier League will touch him, you would hope, although Arsenal seem to have ridden the Partey storm without getting too much grief, so Greenwood back to England may change if a club is desperate enough.

I dunno, there's going to be a team in the Championship promotion hunt who would probably be comfortable with signing him if they go up.

The Stadium rocks when "Les Bleus " play there, one of the most intimidating grounds.

Yep, they have never shied away from those type of players in the past, so I can't see why they wouldn't now.
