Marseille haven't got to grips with the friendly bit

The club or the city?

Some of our supporters don't seem to either judging from comments elsewhere. Does look like we don't have a second eleven for the League Cup or smaller teams still though.

The most inappropriate friendly since Creed v Drago.

It takes some doing to make PSG and their fans seem likeable in comparison.

A good bit of practice and an understanding of the shittery that we can expect in Europe with thuggish opposition and a weak ref.

We did well to stay relatively calm and not get drawn in.

Pity about the 2 goals conceded in the 2nd half, but  plenty of learning points and good experience.

Let's see what tomorrow brings.

First half was good, we were well in the game but second half they got their press right and we just couldn’t cope. The last 20 minutes was just a niggle fest full of petulance and our defence switching off. Obviously it’ll be the other lot tomorrow so let’s see how that pans out.

Whoever picked this as a friendly didn't do their homework on who plays for them.

The last three friendlies have seen the opposition trying to kick chunks out of us but today was on a completely different level.
