I'd seriously consider getting Big Sam in to sort this mess out before it's too late.

Can barely get out of our own half such is our ability to saunter around. These back up players think they’re something special and they’re not.

The new keeper looks comfortable playing the ball with his feet, which is just as well as we've spent 90% of this match passing it back to him.

Carroll could've/should've pased it out wide.

Problem with playing it out from the back is that it can become the be all and end all, when every now and again hoofing it down the pitch is the better option.

Wonder if the kids think that that is the way they HAVE to play all the time and are too worried about getting a "demerit" if they hoof it?

Backup? - the most experienced players on our team right now are Bogarde and Dobbin; most of the rest won't see a Villa first-team game this season.

That’s not Bizot now.

Well, it's Marschall in goals in the 2nd half; he's played well, as did Bizot

It's the way the U18's played when they won the treble.

Our younger players are not used to being man-handled, just used to playing it about. Now they are up against opponents who use there weight to push people off,  block their runs etc. they have difficulties.

Very true, but sometimes Row Z IS the answer.
