At some point we need to be getting the results we were getting last season if we want CL football, yesterday we had an opportunity to do so. I continue to be concerned that the summer transfer window improved the squad but not the first X1 and last night shows that.
It's like being fisted with a mango by Ayn Rand.

I’m pretty sure I’ve hear Martinez, Rogers, Ollie in recent weeks express to the press we haven’t been at our best this season, it’s plainly obvious. However to be upset about yesterday you might as well take a seat next to that attention seeking Gooner kid in the crowd.

We seem to have reached this position and suddenly our hands are tied.
Does Ayn Rand advocate fisting in any of her published works?
Ian Wright was giving it a right whinge post match about "the board need to back Arteta now". He seems to have used the budget already given to him in a strange way. Merino and Calafiori are good players but they have lots of options in those positions already. Sterling seems done. Huge money spent on Rice and Havertz the previous summer, Havertz always seemed a bit samey to like of Odegaard.
