I'd be worried if Emery thought we were at the stage where we need to play 2 left backs at home to Brentford.

I think it'll be a largely unchanged team, but Bailey starting instead of Philogene and Olsen for Martinez.

Maatsen offers some pace going forward so it’s not necessarily a defensive move but they are dangerous out wide so it’s a win win for me. I’d play him.

Hopefully the fans that do bother to turn up tonight are rewarded with a winning performance.

Obviously judging by the comments on here about the attendance tonight, it was a good decision by the owners not to increase the stadium capacity.

To be fair, four home games in December (with two coming in the space of a week) is always going to be a bit of a tough sell.

I'm still undecided, but Sid can fuck off with his snarking, I didn't ask for a full fixture list midweek in the 1st week of December, so they can flog games to Amazon whilst ripping me off at the same time, with a fucking 8:15 kick off.

And that's before you get to the traffic, the soul destroying mass of people to navigate your way into the North Stand, the roof leaking on my seat or the fact my seat shouldn't even be there as for the previous 45 years it had been a ledge between the last row and said roof.

I sat up there for the Juve game, I didn’t realise they’d added that row but I overheard some bloke talking about it. I was next to the column as well so it was extra snug!

He came on there v Bayern wasn't it? And was piss poor from memory. Brentford are missing a load of players so we don't need a back 5.

I have gone for a loss on the vote just because in all eventuality we will fuck this up tonight but hoping for a gritty win.

Olsen in goal? I'd rather have Emi with his arm in a sling.

It’s a moot point as he probably won’t start but I’d put him left mid to offer us some pace from there, so it wouldn’t be 5 at the back. I’m sure he played in midfield for one of the clubs he was on loan at before Dortmund, different levels but not totally foreign for him.

Well, Olsen didn't pass the ball straight to an opposition striker, nor pick up a back pass after he came on. And he couldn't have done anything about the goal that went past him.

Not definitely but looking that way I would think. With no one to marshal the defence in his absence it might be useful for Tyrone to drop into the middle with Konsa.

All fun and games until they restrict season tickets to those who attend every match in the future...

(I'm one of those not attending, so not a dig!)

For people paying match day prices definitely and don’t forget they’ve also put the Celtic tickets out this week.

And if they start doing that, they'll just alienate even more supporters

If they hadn't been such a bunch of twats with the prices and general fucking people about, a lot more people would be going.
