Hopefully the fans that do bother to turn up tonight are rewarded with a winning performance.

Obviously judging by the comments on here about the attendance tonight, it was a good decision by the owners not to increase the stadium capacity.

To be fair, four home games in December (with two coming in the space of a week) is always going to be a bit of a tough sell.

I'm still undecided, but Sid can fuck off with his snarking, I didn't ask for a full fixture list midweek in the 1st week of December, so they can flog games to Amazon whilst ripping me off at the same time, with a fucking 8:15 kick off.

And that's before you get to the traffic, the soul destroying mass of people to navigate your way into the North Stand, the roof leaking on my seat or the fact my seat shouldn't even be there as for the previous 45 years it had been a ledge between the last row and said roof.

Olsen

Digne
Mings
Konsa
Cash

Maatsen
McGinn
Kamara
Bailey

Tielemans
Watkins

I think that strikes a balance between giving some players a rest and not making too many changes at once.

I'd be worried if Emery thought we were at the stage where we need to play 2 left backs at home to Brentford.

I think it'll be a largely unchanged team, but Bailey starting instead of Philogene and Olsen for Martinez.

Loads of seats available still , Upper Trinity looks particularly bad

Pay £72 for a ticket to sit on the cold, or watch it for free as part of my Amazon Prime subscription in my parents' lounge. Tough choice...

notice it starts 8.15 too.  that 30 mins makes a massive difference for me getting back to leicester on the train, I even had a cancelled one a few weeks ago.

Id be disapointed not to see maatsen start tonight .

An 8.15 KO means I will get home at 2.15. Up for work tomorrow at 6 and a half day today. 3 points will be most welcome....

It means I'm almost certain to catch more lane closures on the M6 too.

Night road closures for these midweek games are an absolute pain. At least now heading back into Wales there is very little traffic for the night games.

Tonight was always going to be one of the games that would suffer from the Champions League pricing too = if people are having to cut back attending games, then this is the one they'll avoid.

I've said it lots of times on here, but a good portion of the extra income we are getting by charging pisstake prices for the 'big' games is going to be lost in reduced attendances at other matches.

If we win, it's possible, unlikely, we could be in 7th place tonight and everything will be hunky-dory.

I'd love to win, the mood changes if we do. We're not a bad team, maybe a little low on confidence and unable to meaningfully change it up. As we've said before, the slowdown passing looks great when we're  knocking on the door and in charge but when we're not in control it can invite mistakes, panic. I'd take losing if we just played well.

I'd rather play badly and win . Winning games justifies everything . Playing well and losing sucks . Playing badly and losing also sucks .
