I also live 130 miles away and do have an ST, but probably don’t go to more than 15 games on it because so many KOs are changed to times that are difficult. There are many people, who hang on to their season ticket very simply because of that line in benefits package. ‘Imagine if I gave up my season ticket and we won the FA Cup the following year?’ It’s a big thing for ST holders to have that priority, & if they don’t want season ticket holders, messing with that priority is actually a genius way of getting rid of a fair few.In 1996, I was a student and couldn’t afford a season ticket but was at all the home games to see the last 15-20 minutes as I worked on the catering! It didn’t make me less of a fan then, but I accepted that there were people ahead of me for a Cup Final ticket.
Last time we got there:
Any idea how far down it went as isn't it only like 20k seats supplied to the teams for the final?

The club have got this one wrong I'm afraid . If rewarding loyalty means day trippers over long term ST holders it's a sad state of affairs .And they know it, I contacted AVFCSupport on Twitter (X) showing the Preston criteria and the Renewal AMFY posted on here and usually their response to my questions is the next day or if the next day is Sunday 2 days. This time though the reply was 5 minutes advising me to email Fan Complaints which i have done. As Amfy said this is a breach of contract and if you are a season ticket holder you need to complain they can't be allowed to get away with this.

Just looking at allocations for the last few seasons and you normally get:Semi Final 34,000Final 30,000So in both scenarios STHs are getting tickets.

Not necessarily, if people who have been to three cup games are given priority over season ticket holders, as they are for the Preston game. That was the cause of complaint.
