If they apply the same criteria as for Preston away, then yes it would be. Members who have attended three FA Cup games get preference over season ticket holders who missed one or more.

Check point 2 of the rewards of a season ticket in the OS! (You have to scroll quite a long way down!)  I'd say they're in breach of contract here!

Not really. Any check of T&C will have bits in there (home tickets only?), and even then they will just point that ST holders had priority over members with the additional criteria added.

'Priority access to away and cup tickets including Champions League'

It actually says 'away' & 'cup'.

I can see how they can put ST holders in priority order where there are less tickets than ST holders, but not how they can put anyone else ahead of on this basis really.

Having priority for a cup final has always been a key ST reward. Like CD says, we'll let this one go but if people who went to those 3 games end up in a Wembley queue ahead of us, because we missed one game....

well if I hadn't already decided this was my last ST that would definitely put the tin hat on it!

We're in the very strange position of being on the verge of a success that many long serving supporters may use as a full stop and a The End.

And feeling that that's exactly what the club want to release my season ticket of forty years to a pay by the game customer doesn't help one jot.

Heard bad reports on Kay, he's not bothered about putting the work in anymore.

Tbf it’s Mr Amfy that likes him and it was his birthday present but he was actually loads better than I expected?

Glad you had a good time (and he didn't chuck you out!).

I wonder how many members we have who have done all 3 games?

We've got 27k season ticket holders, youd imagine a few k wont go, leaving about 8k tickets for members who've attended all 3 games if we get 32k tickets?

You'd imagine all should get one.

I have been on the waiting list for a ST for years. I had one for 12 years until kids/life/money stopped it when I had 2 in nursery etc. my lads now 17, we are members and it's allowed us to actually go to games together for the last 3 seasons we would have struggled to get to without the membership. We missed 1 home game last season. We've missed 2 this due to rescheduling while we were on holiday, but have done every CL game, every FACup game. Why should we be penalised for not physically being able to buy a season ticket when we've been to just as many games. That included hours on the phone to the ticket office to sort fan id glitches and general farcical moments that make following Villa really hard. I think they could go higher on the membership requirements than just the cup games, but I'm glad that fans that have done everything to attend will get chance to at least try and go. Taking my lad to a game at Wembley to watch the Villa would be a bucket list moment for me, I hope the criteria stays as is.

I think it's a bit out of order if they do prioritise members over season ticket holders for wembley tbh.

It's always been the way that season ticket holders get cup final priority, and many will have prioritised games based on that this season, especially with the costs of the CL games. I certainly have, I'd have probably been happier just paying £75 for a few fa cup games to be honest.

I also get the members arguments as well, but if we are to change the way we prioritise cup final tickets, they need to communicate it at the start of the season so people don't get shafted.

I can kind of understand if they want to give members some kind of a chance to get a ticket but in front of a season
ticket holder who may have only done one FA Cup game?

Nah, that's just wrong

It's very clever from the club as long as they don't shaft ST holders this year. Everyone will be buying cup tickets regardless next year (and we'll revert to 3rd round losses as per lol)

It's a good chance for some Season Ticket holders who don't get the chance to go to an away game to have an away day, or it should be.

It's what I was hoping.

Never mind - some one else will have my season ticket next year, & maybe I'll go to Wembley in the back of 3 £25 FA cup games when I'm not struggling to get to the other 19 getting moved to all times and days of the week.

Does anyone know the numbers involved in the first two waves? Will all those eligible get a ticket?
