Burnley's latest transfer announcement. https://x.com/BurnleyOfficial/status/1886354138948141348

Very good

I wonder what they paid for that clip ?? These introductions are getting more and more bizarre !!1

https://x.com/UtdDistrict/status/1883210120064352452

Anthony's was a belter.

It's probably just me, but these club-media-new-signing-clips are right up there with Fantasy Football League in things that people seem to enjoy that make me want to commit mild violence.

Thank God I'm not the only one, I hate Fantasy Football more than is in any way reasonable.

It can never be unreasonable, it's the golf of football.

I'd be very surprised. Chelsea and us are fighting for a Champions League spot next year. Why would they help us?

When you say 'mild violence' do you mean shaking your fist or just muttering under your breath?

Yep.  Seems little incentive for them to do the deal, unless we bung them a bigger loan fee maybe.  I'm hoping we have other players lined up, because Chelsea might prefer to keep an unhappy player on the books for the second half of the season than risk making us a stronger competitor for the top 5.

More shoving, headlocks, maybe a kick up the arse if required.

I bet if the shoe was on the other foot, we would be letting the player go to them. There's probably a lesson there for us that sometimes we can be too nice.

Don't know if we have any more loan slots but I'd be looking at tempting Christian Romero from Spurs. I don't think he's played since he slagged off Levy under the cover of injury. He's exactly what we need, hard as nails, master of the dark arts, decent on the ball too.

Nah, gets booked nearly every game and he's a cheating eejit.
