I don't think we are after that sort of player. We want players who will make a difference for our run in, not just for February.

You have to still be in the race by March. Anyone could see in all 3 recent games, there is a gaping hole in the team. We're probably 3 points down so far, with an FA cup tie this weekend which is very winnable. Saying Mings might make that game is great, but we're only a knock from being back to 1 centre back until mid march at the earliest. Picky is fine when you have cover. When you don't a plaster is needed.

And Bogarde and Kamara are plasters. And better than some of these suggested desperation buys.

Exactly, we should have been able to cope for a couple of games with the calibre of player we have got, and whether we had a player with centre half on his passport or not, doesn't mean everything would have been rosy.

There was no reason why Digne couldn't have played better against West Ham, and Kamara should have coped against Wolves better than he did.

All full backs should be able to play centre half and vice versa, and a defensive midfielder should be able to step in at centre half.

Diego Carlos gave Wolves a goal head start in the home game, getting shot of him was the right idea, as we had a decent offer.
