A decent CB would be nice.

I'd even take a non-decent one at this stage.

Just someone who describes himself as that on his CV.

Exactly- someone vaguely competent at centre-half so we don’t have to put our best midfielder there.

For the substantial pay rise involved, I’m more than happy to update my CV to describe myself as such. Where do I sign the contract?

What's Hause up to these days?
Last seen at Cheltenham festival in a white 3 piece suite

Like Danny DeVito climbing naked out the sofa in It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.

We just got Disney+ and I've started watching this. Not sure how I managed to miss it, it's excellent.

Just in case any non-French posters were thinking of rushing out to get Disney+ on the back of this post, it's on Netflix over here.

Jan Bednarek is keen apparently.

I literally walked into the man a few weeks back.

Ideally not him, clearly, but for the odd game I reckon we’d be better overall with him playing and Bouba back in midfield. At least we’re only weak in one position then.

Now I’d hope we could get substantially better - but we have to get someone in.

I understand we are all a bit nervous about Marcus and Marco, but if they come off our team surely has to be better with two genuine world class players added to it?

But are they better than Buendia and Philogene?

Great news on the financials but we can’t play a stack of cash at centre half, can we?

Indeed we desperately need a centre-half. The reckless decision to risk a week or so with 2 fit centre halves has cost us points against very ordinary opposition.
Agree , poor planning , the defence is a mess it really is.

Yeah, surely we knew in November that Torres, Mings and Cash would get injured again.

I’m going glass half full.  Asensio and Rashford to click straight away and we finish 4th and win the CL.

I would  love nothing more to be wrong and that to happen

I'm not surprised you love nothing more than being wrong.

He puts in a lot of practice, to be fair.
