Whereas if Asensio took a 50% pay cut he'd still be our best paid player.

It’s all been downhill for the lad since he starred in coming to America with Eddie Murphy

Looking online its 130k a week

And while these online figures should all be taken with a pinch of salt, that's supposedly less than we are paying Malen or Onana. So not that "crazy"

Your making assumption  he wouldn't  want more money ?

Just to add further context cunha earns around 60k a week so much more likely  to fit our wage structure wouldnt you agree?

I'm making no assumptions. I'm just disputing that £130,000 for a Premier League football is "crazy wages".

Working at McDowell's broke his spirit.

So despite the fact we finished above Man City they have earnt more from the Champions League than us.

Because the Money they, and other PL club get for taking part if much bigger than ours due a "value" pillar.  Literally everywhere you look you see the game is just fucked.

I feel sorry for Unai - the amount of shit he has to put up with and work around just to overcome rules set up to protect various vested interests.

I've asked Keiran Mcguire to explain this on twitter. Its just money for big team, ring-fencing and completly anti-competitive.

Spotify doing the same. It stinks, it sucks, it's anthropolgically unjust. But the takings are up by a third, cvnts are still running the world.

You would think there might be a legal challenge in this somewhere - merit payments, not based on merit.

What is all this about Konsa being wanted by Liverpool for £41m?  Any legs.  Literally I am very far behind stuff this week.

I think you're confusing Konsa with Suarez. Arsenal still hoping that Liverpool will accept the release clause bid of £40m + £1m. Luis is still in no man's land after all these years.

In my head at least, I don’t think Chelsea or Felix are in a position to demand more than they agreed in the summer.  Considering how it’s gone, both parties should be happy to exit breaking even.

Is Asensio any good?
He played over 100 games for Real Madrid and was certainly good for them. Don’t know about his time at PSG

And three champions league medals…
The tea lady in Real Madrid has 3 CL medals
