Selling Duran reminds me of when Liverpool sold Torres for 50M to Chelsea. They clearly one that trade but then spent 35M of that money on Andy Carroll. There is a morel to the story somewhere.

How the story ends for us depends on how mushroom we've got PSR-wise.

Ahh - that old chestnut.

Also Disasi ain’t done yet cause of Felix - Emery really wants Felix. So a loan to buy deal or outright purchase being discussed, which then effects loan for disasi

Delap is as likely as Villa selling Watkins to Arsenal. I can see us going there in the summer though.

Felix, if Emery wants him, just buy him, spread it on a 5 year plan and hope for the best. A Saudi side I'll buy him in 2 years if it goes to shit. Then loan to buy Disasi.

I'd be happy with Felix. He's a technically brilliant player who I suspect just needs to be given a steady run of games under a decent manager.

Will he get games if Watkins remains fit?

Delap can take penalties, Disasi would be excellent but a disaster for spelling, I’d be very excited to see Felix playing for us.

They play in different positions, so I don't see why not.

Felix and Rogers in the same side would be quite a thing.

With Ramsey and behind Watkins who creates a lot of space with his running. I think that's a world class front 4 and we'd still have some very good players to replace them from the bench as well.

Felix, Rogers and Ramsey behind Watkins could be pretty fucking spectacular.

Indeed we would we be very light in striker back up. I suppose Malen could play there.

We'd need a rock solid defence though. Can't see Felix tracking back much.

Luckily that part of our game is absolutely spot on…..

I think that "Malen is Duran's replacement, not Bailey's competition" is underpriced.

Dortmund bought him on the strength of his best ever season, which was at centre-forward. They then put him mainly on the wing for two years and he wasn't as good.

I reckon if Arsenal did buy Watkins and decided they wanted to play him cutting in from the right, he'd be less good than he is for us. That's Malen at Dortmund.

It's also possible of course than Malen is a brilliant Eredivisie striker and Afonso Alves in England.

Indeed. I'm still gutted Badé turned us down. What was he thinking? They had 'Arouna Sangante, the current captain of Le Havre in Ligue 1. At 22 years old, the Senegalese defender has proven to be a leader in the French team, with performances that stand out for his security and ability to anticipate the opponent. His youth and potential make him a perfect fit for what the Seville club is looking for'.

€5m release clause too. Get him in and take Felix on loan. Do not buy him!

By the time I get Joao Felix
She'll be rising
She'll find the note I left hanging
On her door
She'll laugh when she reads the part
That says I'm leaving
'Cause I've left that girl so many times before
