Did they have the West Ham team submit the bid for them? Wankers. You want Ollie in January it’s £90m minimum you absolute wankers.

Solanke went for £60m after 1 good season and is a similar age. Watkins has hit double figures 5 seasons on the trot. I hate Arsenal with a passion, Arteta is the human embodiment of the spoilt tits that support them.

There's no way he goes there.

And then if Arsenal still want a striker in the summer, they're more likely to break the bank for Isak.

Not worried about this in the slightest - especially now Duran is off.

Massive income plus the Kane money means they're fine at the moment. Probably able to spend anywhere from £100-150m without it being too much of a problem for the next season or so.

However that's obviously balanced by the fact that a couple of years out of the Champions League and the resulting loss of income (prize money and commercial) means that if they do spend, they need to do it well and get a lot better than they are.

They must make quite a bit from the NFL games they have each year too.

Their commercial side brings in almost as much as our whole income doesn't it, not including TV money etc. that stadium cost a lot, but the construction costs sit outside PSR but the income is huge.

🚨🧨 Arsenal’s opening offer for Ollie Watkins was closer to £45m than £60m.
@Matt_Law_DT

Ha.

Well he missed five "sitters" last night so no wonder the bid has gone down...

Minimum £80m.

Or swap with Saliba

Ah I assumed it was the world Tarquin that caused the issue, "plastic c...s " might be featured in his next letter home.

Yeah, their revenue last year was £515 million with a wage/revenue ratio of 42%. Ours was £256 million with a wage/revenue ratio of 96%.
