Tel would be a unbelievable signing but couldnt see it. Boniface deal off now expectwd tp stay in Germany

Can a deal be off if it was never on? Is the Messi deal off too?

I assumed he was talking about the Saudi deal before Duran was linked for the move. It was one or the other.

Correct

OK sorry.

Delap looks a handful, but I want to see him play a few more games first, I think he played wide for Hull last season, but he's been a revelation playing through the middle, so we might be back to the "can they play together scenario" with Watkins, he'd cost a bit as well wouldn't he ?

I work with an Ipswich fan who says Delap has put in some of the best displays he’s seen from an Ipswich striker since Dalian Atkinson in the late 80s.

Tap in Romano quoted as saying we have enquired about Mathys Tel from Bayern.  19 years old, French and predominantly left sided attacker.

I wonder if he would be competition for Bailey cutting in on his left and Malen an alternative to Watkins.

We won't be getting him anyway.

They paid €30m for him as a 17-year-old, and he's done okay despite only being 19 now.  The chances of us getting him without paying a premium are pretty slim.  Looks very good though!

I think they're keen to bring some cash in at the moment - while they're not in Barcelona territory, they've got loads of young attackers and are pretty comfortable recouping some costs where they can.

They're expecting to have to spend a phenomenal amount of money on tying Musiala down long-term and are sacrificing players elsewhere to do that.

How many players can you loan to a championship club?  Or to put it another way, who could we send on loan to Ipswich and Soton next season to sweeten a deal for Dibbling and Delap.

Gauci gone on loan to Barnsley - he was in the CL squad so I think we can register a youth keeper in his place now and free up a spot. I think.

I think Emery will go flat out for Felix once the Duran deal is completed. The ability is clearly there & Emery will get the best out of him. Unlike Duran, Felix will be able to play with Watkins.

Massive income plus the Kane money means they're fine at the moment. Probably able to spend anywhere from £100-150m without it being too much of a problem for the next season or so.

However that's obviously balanced by the fact that a couple of years out of the Champions League and the resulting loss of income (prize money and commercial) means that if they do spend, they need to do it well and get a lot better than they are.

🚨🧨 Arsenal’s opening offer for Ollie Watkins was closer to £45m than £60m.
