Can we cut out the point scoring and general sniping at each other, the "I'm cleverer than you" stuff and just keep it mildly on topic please. It is really not needed and gets very tiresome.

Would rather give the Disasi bloke a try, as he seems like he might not be permanently injured and is more of a CB.

Foyth would be an odd signing. With his injury record, you'd think Villarreal would want him off their wage bill.

Was going to comment on this particular issue, but it's not worth the effort, come on heroes and villains to get away from the real world, but it coming to the point where I sometimes can't be bothered with it

With the Chelsea interest in Duran, and us wanting Disasi and Felix, I think the mechanics of that deal will be too difficult due to the Chelsea contract length thing, meaning their amortised value will be very high still, and there would need to be a huge fee for Duran to get round any way Villa could cover the difference. If we wanted both perm.

I'll be very surprised if we let Duran go this January.  We have zero cover for Ollie if he goes.  It might be a loan deal for Felix might pave the way for a permanent move/swap in the summer, but I can't see it now simply because of how short we'd be up front.

We can't loan both Disasi and Felix from them - and it sounds as though the Disasi one is happening.

How about a swap.

Duran = Felix, Disasi and Nkunku

That would be a great deal - not sure if we have enough FFP headspace in the wages though.

It is but it’s heavily favoured towards Villa as well meaning that we value Duran north of £150m.

Foyth and Disasi both rumoured to be close. I hope the fee for Foyth is low. Ezri and Disasi can both play left side centre back, but I have a feeling if we do sign both, Foyth will be right back a lot in the run in.

Just seen Leverkusen have agreed a loan deal for Mario Hermoso from Roma. We were linked with him before he moved to Italy in the summer. He’s a left sided centre half.

Yep, we have two of them, so no need for another.

Would it not be a good idea to buy a centre-half who can play on the left or the right?
