Would it not be a good idea to buy a centre-half who can play on the left or the right?
Oh yeah, and let's have a striker that can take chances too. Come on mate, I know you're a communist, but some of your beliefs are unrealistic.
I think we should have a centre half who believes in God.
I like this. With God on our side anything is possible!
Though every player is precious to God be it a believer or not.

There's no such thing as 'God'. It's just a belief system that people use to prop up their brain. An excuse for shit that goes wrong. Therefore nothing can be precious to 'God'.
That is your personal opinion where I think totally the opposite

You think people's brains are propping up their belief systems? I think you might be right.

Show me any shred of evidence that I'm wrong. There is none.

Let’s not go down this path on here. Off topic is the place for discussing divisive subjects like religion or politics.

There’s nothing more divisive than the subject of Digne at left centre half, perhaps he could be left centre of a back three?

Oh no it's not! ;)

Fair play. This should be a secularist forum.

Complete aside, but at least it’s not religion or politics … Tunnock’s Caramel Logs are the best confectionary and I’ll fight anyone who disagrees.

Edit: for the avoidance of doubt, I mean a keyboard-based fight. I couldn’t punch my way out of a wet paper bag, so I try to avoid actual fisticuffs

Biscuits, cakes and sauces are always a wonderful topic to separate the smart and the dim, the refined and those lack any class. And welcome on all threads.

You could put a Tunnocks Teacake on each hand before the fight.

You can just as easily sat that there is zero evidence to suggest God does not exist. You can't prove love exists either, but belief in it is almost universal. Some things require faith to believe in not proof.

I don't agree that Christianity uses God as an 'excuse for things that go wrong' though I can't claim that no religions do.

More to the point I don't understand why you get so animated about someone else believing in god, or what on earth it has to do with the transfer thread.

Back on topic - I think Felix plus 40m and Disasi for Duran would be OK business. I have a sneaky feeling that we will end up signing Jonathon David on a free in the summer as competition for Watkins.

Not sure Foyth is what we need though, we seem well stocked for right backs now.

I have no quarrel with Tunnock's, but the Tea Cake shits all over the Caramel Log. I can't even believe they're sisters.
