Personally God was mentioned so that's why I added to discussion.
Did you know:
A player can be inspired by God which helps him or her . That is only a good thing.
That is all I would say without drawing this debate out
Let's peacefully enjoy that knowledge that some of our players gain strength from God.

Other than the 'prove the negative' fallacy, that wasn't actually a bad effort at all at a terse summary of the position.

Yeah, a player can also hide his belief in God to refuse to get behind campaigns to end discrimination.

Rejoice!

Why must I pay it any mind at all?

Why has God helped Man City so much recently though? Or is Allah just better at helping footballers? Is that the real reason why they’ve been so good since the Abu Dhabi takeover?

I can't see it happening in this window anyway, but for the record I'm not sure Felix did have the chance to join us in the summer? If memory serves we hadn't made an offer and potentially needed more outgoings e.g. Carlos/Buendia before we could make a move. Then he ended up at Chelsea because the Gallagher transfer to Atletico Madrid was going to collapse unless he was chucked in as part of the deal. Felix was just desperate to leave, so he went with it.

It's definitely not ideal that Felix has been unsettled for so long but if he is Emery's dream signing I am not going to argue with him.

If anyone can Emery can with Felix . Unai has the coaching ability to be able to motivate him you suspect JF would thrive given the creative licence.

Unai has about 14 first team players he needs to fix before he can even start thinking about bringing in new problems.

Emery's got a boner for Felix and I think he could make it happen - just hoefully it's not at the expense of Duran. I'd rather we shipped Bailey and another out if we had to

Neymar has transferred and returned to Santos

Neymar wouldn't fit under Unai regime here at Villa. At PSG Emery had to adapt when the Brazilian arrived.

"It was obvious. I couldn’t be the same coach with and without Neymar in every club, you have to know what your role is and what role you have vis-a-vis the rest of the group.
I am of the opinion that PSG’s leader is Neymar"

I'm usually more concerned about the team and the games, but for once I'm more focussed on what is happening regarding transfers in and out this week as I think this could have a tremendous influence on how the rest of the season plays out. For better or worse (god forbid).

It actually opens the bigger picture and debate of how comfortable Emery deals with big characters.
His need for control and being in charge.
Douglas Luiz said they use to argue
Jhon Duran says they argue

Other players have said it's headmaster vibes
And when Mister enters the room for meetings and on training field they pay attention or everyone will go quiet because Unai is here.

One thing that's certain is Emery is a high standard professional and is the boss.
He will demand the same attention to detail from his players that he has.

According to everybody's favourite Italian tap-in merchant we've spent the day in talks with Chelsea regarding Unai's vanity project. As long as Duran is staying and Felix is only a loan, no worries.
