Looking at Transfermkt, Disasi has mainly been playing RB whereas his skillset (big bugger) means he’s probably better suited to being a dominant CB.

The Chelsea fans have made him damaged goods with their Disaster nickname, so I hope we try before we buy.
That's no different to UDC and 'Ulysses = Useless'. He wasn't half as bad as was made out, but his name made it easy for insults
And there's Tony Cantscorino (a link to Chelsea there).

For the comparative amounts we paid I think Cascarino was a much worse deal for the club than Ulises De La Cruz.

With little Barry and little Emi leaving there room for another attacker.

I can see the Duran and Felix swap but we’d need a warchest of cash. £40m and Disasi on loan I reckon.

I’d be annoyed at this as I’d want Felix to replace the outgoing Buendia, not Duran

I do think Felix is a 2-4-1 player, as he can play both striker or ten. That should mean he’s involved most matches and therefore justify the move..

If anyone can Emery can with Felix . Unai has the coaching ability to be able to motivate him you suspect JF would thrive given the creative licence.
Number 10 role suits him and us and would link well with Watkins as does Malen. Duran doesn't link so well with Watkins.

We've attempted to get Felix over the last 2 seasons & my assumption was, we couldn't afford him & he was interested anyway. But his profile is exactly what we need.

I think part of it was he just wanted out of where he was. I'm sure there was talk we were close to signing him, or he was our main priority, but then whatever deal fell through and we couldn't make the finances work. I'm not sure how we can suddenly make the finances work now, but the if there's actually a possibility it could happen we should be trying everything to make it happen.

Hasn't he been a very expensive underperforming flop at Chelsea . Isn't he a bit like Buendia . I'm not sure he's what we need even if it was feasible .

Felix is a cracking player. He just needs a little Emery magic to bring it out of him.

Based on nothing but my imagination but I’ve a hunch Monchi is angling to swap Duran (plus cash) for either Felix or Asensio.

Cashing our chips before some big signings in the summer.

He’s not a striker though is he?

A flop? No. He's just been the primary victim of Cole Palmer proving to be brilliant.  They play in the same position, and Maresca rarely includes them both in the same team.  In recent months, his minutes have come from the bench, often for Palmer at the end of games.

He's getting games in the cups and Europe (6 goals from 8 games in cup comps I think), but he's not getting a look-in ahead of Palmer in the league.

I'd definitely take him, but it would mean a bit of rejigging as he thrives best in the same position that Rogers currently occupies.

If we're taking expensive attackers from Chelsea's bench then Nkunku would fit our system much better than Felix I reckon.
