It’s Chelsea. The financial benefactor to everyone.

So, £70m plus Felix for Duran.

Chelsea fans call him Disaster Disasi.

Villa fans called Savo Missalotovic while he was scoring more goals in his first season in England than Bergkamp and Cantona. Know-nothing football fans love trying to pretend they’re funny.

Did scoring more goals in that season mean he was a better player than Bergkamp and Cantona?

🤣

It could be a bit much for someone who can’t tell the time, but could you explain this to me?

I had touted this swap happening for the summer 2025 window as Chelsea keep pursuing Duran and Emery clearly feels Felix is the right profile to have as creative player in the team

Gallagher for Duran would have been a fair move during the summer 24 window. If something comes up within this window, say a Villa swap in Felix or Jackson (who played under Emery) I'm not averse if the money is right and a deal is fair.

Felix is a busted flush and Gallagher is fucking crap. Other than that, I fully concur.

Would take Gallagher or Onana? And I think he was first choice in summer
Gallagher been doing well at Ath Madrid and would have suited the midfield play here as well as being less injury prone and more energetic round the pitch than Onana.

On Felix or Jackson well I could see Emery get a tune out of either as he's good at players who have lost their way or needing to take next step.

I suppose swaps more likely to occur in June before PSR deadlines
So maybe this in the winter window after all?
It now makes sense if Disasi and Felix arrive it would be for Duran and money.
Duran would have gone to Chelsea in the summer if Gallagher hadn't turned us down.

Juan Foyth from Villarreal now linked

Since before Mings injury, now it has ramped-up.
Foyth - he'd be firth in the CB pecking order.

Looking at Transfermkt, Disasi has mainly been playing RB whereas his skillset (big bugger) means he’s probably better suited to being a dominant CB.

The Chelsea fans have made him damaged goods with their Disaster nickname, so I hope we try before we buy.
That's no different to UDC and 'Ulysses = Useless'. He wasn't half as bad as was made out, but his name made it easy for insults
And there's Tony Cantscorino (a link to Chelsea there).

Going off the FPL points scoring system... he's the 126 best midfielder in the league this season. Although Kamara is only 2 points ahead of him, so that's probably not a very good indication of anything.

Felix isn’t shit at all. But I wonder if he’s head is on straight bouncing from club to club not really settling anywhere. What’s to say he finally comes here, we don’t get CL and in a year or so wants to go back Spain? Again I know Emery loves him but can he convince him to be with us long term? We’d have two potential issues along with Duran.

I can see the Duran and Felix swap but we’d need a warchest of cash. £40m and Disasi on loan I reckon.
