Nor me. I love Unai, but last 6 weeks he's not got it right. Bogarde with Kamara and Tielemans at 10 would have been a much better base to start with

We can all comment with the benefit of hindsight.

Bayer Leverkusen are optimistic of completing a loan move for Emi Buendía — talks currently advanced.
@JacobsBen

Not sure about this one. Leverkusen are in for McAtee.

It really depends on who (if anyone) is bought in as a replacement.

If Buenida goes then Cunha or Asensio would be good moves.

We aren't getting Cunha off Wolves in January. Just won't happen. Asensio I'm not convinced at all would perform in the prem.

Especially as he's probably their best hope of surviving.

Current squad based on Emery wanting 2 players for each position.....

GK
Martinez
Olsen
Gauci
Zych

RB
Cash
Garcia
Nedeljkovic (probably off)
Konsa

RCB
Konsa

LCB
Mings i
Torres i

LB
Digne
Maatsen

DM
Kamara
Bogarde

CM
Onana i
Barkley i

LM/W
Ramsey
Buendia (possibly off?)

10
Rogers
Tielemans
McGinn

RM/W
Bailey
Malen
McGinn

CF
Watkins
Duran

Obviously with both LCB and LM injured we're suffering. Buendia, Tielemans and Rogers all kind of interchange and McGinn plays all over.

The gap we have is a right-sided CB to cover or compete with Konsa, and if Buendia goes we need a new 10.

I have been wondering if we are back in for Joao Felix considering he isn't getting a lot of minutes at Chelsea.

He can f*ck off - how many opportunities does one player need to turn us down - i would rather have Chucky back than him

Understand Al Nassr have started official talks for Victor Boniface as new striker!

Negotiations on with Bayer Leverkusen for the Nigerian striker to replace Talisca.

👀🇸🇦 The other candidate is Jhon Durán… but Aston Villa still insist on keeping him at the club.
