So is Olmo potentially available on loan? Or not.

We probably need a couple of loan signings, one in defence (cover for Mings now Torres is injured) and one that can play on the wing. What's Lenglet up to?

If we manage to offload Carlos, I would imagine we will buy a replacement that can play right side of defence / right back.

Can't see us buying a forward unless we did the unthinkable and sold Watkins whilst he can still command a large fee. I think that may happen in the summer, but not likely now especially with Duran suspended.

Overall though I think the squad we have is more than capable of clicking and going on a good run to finish top 5.

I think carlos will be moved on in summer for a smallish fee as doesnt have long on his contract. Could see a loan.

For me i would go for chalobah in summer as replacement

Media reports that Villa are interested in resigning Carney "who Chelsea value at £40m".  Right so the player you paid £20m for and have scarcely used costs twice what you paid for him.  Dream on!

I'd file that in the 'highly unlikley' folder.

Yesterday we were linked with Donyell Malen, the wide forward at Dortmund. 5 goals, 1 assist in 20 league and cup games.

Lenglet is top of the table with Atleti, he won't be coming back. We can probably find someone just as half-decent.

Aston Villa are poised to recall Lewis Dobbin from his loan at West Brom — he has other Championship interest

They’d want a decent wedge I would imagine, if we’ve got that kind of money I hope we look elsewhere.

Although that might be the way they play. PSG don't rely on goals from their central strikers but more on the left (when Mbappe was there) and now right wing with Dembele. When he was playing sole striker at Frankfurt, he was scoring.

Price needs to be right though and I wouldn't want him instead of our front two at the moment.

Not even on the bench for them today so guess we’re about to relocate him to a club operating in this century.

Dobbin would be good for a club like Plymouth  where he will be guaranteed  game time
