There are players and deals out there. Look at Juventus, they have Francisco Conceição on loan with an option to buy for €30m in the summer.

Exactly

We could have got chalobah on loan and we didnt go for him.

The bloke who’s playing for Palace? Meh.

It’s not about filling the squad with worse or similar players to what we have.

We are missing the quality Doug had in the first half of last year, and the difference Diaby brought in terms of style. We need points of difference, not squad fillers.

He has been excellent  for palace mate. He is a lot bettee than cash in my opinion.

I agree about your point about luiz and diabs though. As i said on the last few pages if dougies available  on loan its a no brainer to bring him back. That wouldn't break the bank either.  But I think Risso said emerys not wanting him back which would be  a shame. Barkleys done ok but he is no luiz on luizs top form

Philogene  is definitely no diaby either. More a trezuguet/ el ghazi

Chalobah doesn't play RB does he?

I didn't think he was particularly noticable when we played them

Oh ok, I don't like centre backs playing at RB, you need a specialist there to get forward.

He's a CB by trade and this season has been playing on the right of a back 3 so not exactly a right back. He's barely been noticeable

I thought they normally play a back 3 and he’s the right sided centre back. Munoz plays right back.

Yeah, but what if that scum had one good game against us? I say sign them all and rip up our formation.

If we sign everyone, nobody will be able to score against us!

Until we sell them again for PSR. 😰

He was very good for them against Spurs - which other games did he do well in?

I would happily take that Tillman from PSV. Doubt we will get near him though.
