We sold a host of players in summer surely we cany be in that bad FFP position now?

Even if barrys in hot form how much we likely to get for him? Its league one so i couldnt imagine more than 10m

We are not lacking funds. We are lacking wriggle room. As the FFP is all of it on sales and a split over 5 years on purchases, the 10 mil could be used as offset to buy in a £50 mil player. (Wages not taken into account).

A less successful prem player cost £15m last summer, so that should act as a price guide.

I think we missed a trick not taking players on loan in the summer, players like Chalobah and Sancho would have been ideal.

Will we have more financial head room this window for loans i.e. wages?  I’ve seen us linked with a Real Madrid winger on loan (the Turkish fella) but no RB/CBs.

I think the books for the new financial period are certainly going to be interesting.  I cant inagine they are as bad as last summers were

I think the wage bill is a massive issue at the club. Gerrards signings have killed us fir a few years

Turnover should have been over £270m last season so hopefully that helps, and then if Heck achieves his target, this season’s should be £320m.

Is Coutinho actually playing football at any level anymore or is he constantly injured?

A not-very-tall (says he!) attacking midfielder; not a RFB or speedy wide man ...

Staying in the European mix is our number 1 goal along with the revenue it generates.
Unless we strengthen a few positions I do not see us finishing high enough to qualify.
That gives me optimism that we know what to do and will do it.
