🚨🟣🔵 Unai Emery has given the green light to Aston Villa board to try advance on Marcus Rashford loan deal.

Expensive and difficult one but Villa have already approached Marcus’ camp, strong interest…

…and negotiations ongoing.

I can’t see that at all, from a financial, team spirit or playing angle.

Then again I also thought there was no way we’d sell Duran so what do I know.

I really would not want that big nosed waster any where near this group of young players. There are so many rumours circulating about the baggage he carries that it could upset everything. Why should anyone help them off load a "trouble" player

That’s some of the more disappointing news to wake up to…

Went to bed thinking about Asensio, Felix and Tel… wake up with Rashford.

Does he have a particularly big nose? We wouldn’t be trying to help them off load a player, we’d be trying to help us in the short term.

Unlikely to work in my opinion, but I couldn’t give a flying fuck how it affects them.

Rashford at his best is a top level footballer. I wouldn't take the risk personally but I'm not a managerial genius. If Unai can fix Rashford, imagine his pace and finishing ability alongside Rogers and Watkins.

I'm not sure it would be any more expensive than Felix would  be. Every transfer is a gamble. He's obviously a very decent person off the pitch as well.

I certainly wasn’t a cup of coffee - German coffee always tastes like a chemistry experiment gone wrong.

Its a win for them if we take him on loan, they get rid of a player causing them trouble, if Emery can get him playing good football again his price goes up in the summer.

The only way that would be a "win" for them is if he plays well, in which case it would obviously be a "win" for us.

Is he any worse that most multi-millionaire twenty-somethings?

To put it another way, is he an easy target because his politics are opposed to most of our media outlets, therefore they choose to shine a light on his misdemeanours whilst ignoring others (plus the clicks that it generates).
